Escalation clauses, multiple offers, no inspections--oh my. The Fall market this year is mainly a buyers market, yet a variety of strategies are being used as buyers try to secure the home they looked for all August, yet just couldn't find because of low inventory.
A recent listing of mine experienced multiple offers and more than one offer with an escalation clause. As a buyer and a seller, it is important to have a discussion with your agent on these, and other strategies, that can be put into play when presenting or reviewing offers.
