Thursday Thoughts: The Buyer Broker Agreement

Solidifying the agreement between a buyer and their broker/agent is an important step in the process. The Agreement outlines our working relationship. It gives me the authority to represent you, negotiation on your behalf, hold our conversations in confidence, be your fiduciary, and receive compensation.

It is just like a retainer agreement with an attorney or a letter of services for a CPA. It's important to establish that working relationship so that you know the agent is working just for you on the deal. Your agent works--sometimes for months--without compensation to help you get to the closing table and moved into that great new home.

It's your largest purchase so solidify the relationship with a professional agent to get you there is imperative.
