Fall Fixes

Fall. It is my favorite time of the year. I love the chill in the air, the leaves, layering, and the chance to stay home and do some sprucing up. I know, most people think Spring is the time to spruce and clean up. And Fall can be too. Here are a few things to tackle this season. Read more about these and other tips at This Old House.

  • Clean the gutters. Don't have the proper equipment? Call a professional. Buzz me for resources.

  • Clean the kitchen vent hood. It may be the most over looked item in the kitchen. Give it a good cleaning--check your owner's manual for details.

  • Stock up on lawn/garden items. Don't wait until Spring. Look for the items you'll need next Spring now and you might find them on sale.
