Vintage Beauties

Sleek lines. Smooth finishes. Solid doors. Leather seats. There is just something special and sensual about vintage cars.

I had the pleasure of spending the morning at Classic Motor Cars of Washington, DC. I wasn’t there buying, I was there having my car detailed. But while there, dreaming about how wonderful it would feel to drive one of these beauties around sure was fun.

Alan showed me around the main showroom and when I told him I loved the classic, 1960’s era Mercedes convertibles, I also got a special tour of the workshop below. An old Mercedes and a Hellcat were among the treasures underneath the public showroom.

I drove off in my car with an eye over my shoulder in hopes of one of those beauties being in my future--one day.
