History on Tour
Every Tuesday, DC's Real Estate agents have the chance to preview property for their clients during Brokers Open events. This Tuesday, the chance to tour a bit of DC history was on my schedule.
In Georgetown, the former home of Jackie Kennedy built in the 1790s, is complete with a grand entrance, 6 bedrooms, a backyard, completely separate staff quarters, and a look out with sweeping city views.
In Dupont, a stately home situated on two lots, built in 1897 by renowned Architect Joseph Coerten Hornblower, has been beautifully restored to meet today's needs. The 5 level 8200 sq ft home has 3 separate apartments--an owner's 3860 sq ft home with special details like a hidden room behind the dining room bookcase a private garden, and four-car parking, and two separate rental apartments upstairs.
Want to see one of these, or another historic home in DC? Give me a call, text, or email at any time.
