A new year bring changes and renewed principles—we may aim to start a new workout, commit eating better, or buy better wine. Well, we must be realistic with our resolutions, right?

New trends emerge in the home design industry also. Over the next few weeks, I’ll highlight some of this year’s best. Consider adding some of these to your current home. Or, if you are in the market to buy, we can keep these in mind as we look for your new home.

The trends I think are important, and can be added to urban and suburban spaces alike, include Color, Technology, Kitchens with a Twist, Textures, Shedquarters, and Playful Bedrooms.

Follow along as I discuss these trends and share with me what you think about these or other new ideas you see!
